04 Module 04, The Chain

Full visibility, from the factory floor to the raw material source.

Map and verify every tier of your supply chain, from Tier 1 factories to Tier 4 raw material sources, with transparency scores and verification badges on every supplier.

You probably know your Tier 1 factory. Very few brands can trace what happens before it.

What it does

See your whole chain, not just the factory you buy from

Your Supply Chain dashboard has three parts: a colour-coded map, a Tier 1 factory list, and a full chain overview.

Supply Chain Map

Every tier plotted and colour-coded, so you can see at a glance where your suppliers are concentrated geographically.

Transparency scores

Each Tier 1 factory shows a transparency percentage, and it climbs as you add more supplier data and certifications.

Verification badges

Every supplier record carries a Verified or Not Verified badge, visible throughout every tier.

Full Chain view

Organised by product category, Garments, Accessories, Footwear, with Tier 1 factories and their Tier 2 suppliers nested beneath.

How the mapping works

Four tiers, each one verified

Every stage of production gets mapped and checked, not just noted down and left unverified.

  1. Tier 1

    Finished garment factories

The factories cutting, sewing, and finishing the garment you sell, with location, size, currency, and transparency score tracked.

  2. Tier 2

    Fabric and material mills

Supplier name, material type, location, coordinates, and certification, linked back to each Tier 1 factory.

  3. Tier 3

    Processing units

Fabric, trim, and packaging processing, each with a verification status and certification information.

  4. Tier 4

    Raw material source

The origin of the raw fibre itself, the final link in a chain most brands have never actually seen.

How it works

Four steps, from Tier 1 to Tier 4

Built to work outward from the supplier relationships you already have.

  1. Step 01

    Open the Supply Chain Module

Navigate to Supply Chain, Full Supply Chain, View All Data to see the map, Tier 1 list, and overview.

  2. Step 02

    Add your Tier 1 factories

Start with the factories you already work with directly, then select Edit to add their supply chain.

  3. Step 03

    Trace it back a tier

Add Tier 2 suppliers, Tier 3 processing units, and Tier 4 raw material sources, category by category.

  4. Step 04

    Verify and monitor

Track each supplier's verification status and watch the transparency percentage climb as records fill in.

The challenge

A brand knew its Tier 1 factories well, but had no verified record of where fabric and raw materials came from before that. When a retail partner asked for proof of responsible sourcing beyond Tier 1, there was nothing to show.

The solution

Supply Chain Transparency mapped each Tier 1 factory's own suppliers, tracing fabric mills, processing facilities, and raw material sources, then verified the ethical practice claims at each stage.

Key features used

Tier 1 to Tier 4 mapping, supplier verification badges, and the distribution charts that show where suppliers are concentrated by country.

The impact

A complete, verified chain of custody report, ready the next time a partner or auditor asked the same question, with no scramble to piece it together from email threads.

Supply Chain Transparency data feeds directly into Product Life Cycle and every Digital Product Passport, so origin and sourcing information reaches your final garment record automatically.
